Aromatherapy for Aging Skin

Most of us (at least those over 30) want to look young for as long as we can. However, aging skin is a fact of life. As time does go by, age creeps up on us quite silently and before you know it our skin has started to change…wrinkles are upon us.

It’s a fact that the cosmetic surgery industry is booming because of our elusive search for that youthful look. Many people opt for the drastic facelift or chemical peels in that effort.

Cellular regeneration is the key to youthful skin. The nutrients in pure essential oils help the skin to maintain collagen which gives the skin that plump bouncy appearance and encourages the regeneration of new cells.
Some anti-aging essential oils include:

  • Carrot seed
  • Chamomile (German)
  • Clary sage
  • Lime
  • Patchouli
  • Thyme
  • Clove
  • Cypress
  • Eucalyptus
  • Myrrh
  • Rose
  • Yarrow
  • Fennel
  • Frankincense
  • Geranium
  • Neroli
  • Rosemary
  • Ylang Ylang
  • Hyssop
  • Lavender
  • Lemon
  • Orange
  • Sandalwood
